I’m Gab Ybiernas
(aka Gabby)
A Los Angeles movement artist with a practice in dance, faith, and wellness.
A shy kid who found ballet at 3 years old — now a sweet and spunky dancer, dance-fitness professional, and EDM enthusiast, proudly born and based in Los Angeles.
Gabby has cultivated her craft and love for music and movement through studios, festivals, livestreams, and international stages. Her journey has brought her to communities across the globe and online, with appearances and experiences including UCLA, SoundCloud HQ, Zumba® Fitness Livestream, Viva TV Philippines, and festival stages across the Philippines.
With support from artists including Emmy Adelle, EVAN GIIA, Avello, and more, she continues to share her dance-movement storytelling on YouTube through thoughtfully curated works, themes, and playlists.
When she’s not dancing (which is rare), you’ll probably find her at the beach, making Spotify playlists, or serving and moving through her community in ways that deepen her Catholic faith.
Roots
Iloilo, ten years on.
One defining moment takes us back ten years to a tropically humid evening at a festival in Iloilo, Philippines.
As the sun was setting, Gabby, rocking tribal jewelry (major Princess Mononoke vibes) danced upstage to the beat of a warm-up remix. Looking out, she saw a crowd alive with color and movement: people sharing the simple joy of dancing in the present moment.
It’s a feeling she had known long before that night and has continued to follow ever since — finding beauty, connection, and grace through every movement, every step, every breath.
